Reports: Gallardo nears return to ailing Brewers

Right-hander Yovani Gallardo, out since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Feb. 19, threw a simulated game Tuesday and is scheduled to make his first start of the spring Friday, according to several media reports.
